CHARLOTTE — Detectives are asking for the public’s help finding an 18-year-old who they say hasn’t been seen since she got into a fight with a man Wednesday morning.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said officers responded just before 11:20 a.m. to a domestic disturbance call on Albemarle Road.

When they got there, officers said they learned that Jada Lanise Latimer had gotten into an altercation with 22-year-old Christopher Bailey, who she knew. Following the incident, officers said they have not been able to find Latimer and they believe she may be in immediate danger.
Arrest warrants for first-degree kidnapping and assault on a female have been issued against Bailey.
Latimer was last seen wearing dark-colored pants and a T-shirt. Bailey was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white shirt on his head.
Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately. The public can also leave information anonymously by contacting Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600 or online here.
