The latest breakdown of town and city coronavirus cases from the Department of Public Health was made available Wednesday afternoon.
The Department of Public Health began releasing the town and city data in mid-April.
Massachusetts health officials confirmed Wednesday that another 74 residents have died from coronavirus, bringing the statewide death toll to 6,547, according to DPH data.
Officials also confirmed another 527 new cases of the virus, for a total of 94,220. That’s based on 6,663 new tests reported on Wednesday.
During his daily briefing, Gov. Charlie Baker on Wednesday said that the rate of positive cases among those tested over the course of the last week or so is roughly 8.6%, which represents a “significant decrease” compared to April’s statistics.
