The Biden administration has announced new rules for anyone entering the USA. All travelers must show documentary proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 24 hours of entering the USA. There is only one exemption: If you are an illegal immigrant crossing the southern border, no COVID test or vaccination proof is required.
This situation is not only absurd, and dramatically endangers the American public to excessive exposure to COVID-19 disease, but produces a monumental risk to American health. Simply using the data supplied by CDC and Homeland Security, one can easily calculate that many of the 2021 USA COVID deaths can be directly attributed to the 1.6 million people who have crossed the southern border illegally this year. The present administration is responsible for the correlative impacts of this policy, including deaths, impacts to businesses and curtailment of the American way of life. Jimmy Panetta is silent on this matter.
