UPDATE: Police are investigating a threat at Newaygo High School and have identified a person of interest who is not in any school building. Schools remain on secure mode.
NEWAYGO COUNTY, MI – Newaygo Public Schools have gone into “secure mode” Wednesday, Dec. 8, but authorities say there is no immediate danger to students or the public.
