WATERFORD — A house on Middletown Road is now on the edge of a precipice after the hillside it looks out over gave way Sunday late afternoon.
A photo shared by WTEN showed at least a third of the home now hanging over the edge of a hill that had given way. The Times Union obtained another photo that shows the hillside collapsed above a bike path, where the impacted home can be seen now hanging onto the edge of the hill.
Police have closed off Middletown Road. WTEN reported that two homes are being affected and seven buildings had to be evacuated.
