The Oregon Department of Human Services is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teenage foster child who might be in danger, the agency said Wednesday.
Mataya Gearhart, 16, was last seen in Portland on Sept. 8, officials said in a statement.
Gearhart was described as 5 feet 6 inches tall. Officials said she is “believed to be in danger,” but did not provide any further details.
Gearhart previously went missing in Oregon in May.
Anyone who sees Gearhart or who has information regarding her whereabouts was asked to contact local police or call 911.
