The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Sunday to advance to Super Bowl LV.
The appearance will mark quarterback Tom Brady’s 10th Super Bowl and his first since signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last summer. He won six Super Bowl titles with the New England Patriots and lost three times. Brady owns the record for most Super Bowl starts for a quarterback, with John Elway coming in second with five starts.
If the Buccaneers win the Super Bowl, Tom Brady will become the second quarterback to win a title with two separate teams. Peyton Manning -- a longtime rival of Brady -- won a ring with the Indianapolis Colts and another with the Denver Broncos.
Jim McMahon won a Super Bowl ring with two separate teams (Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers), but he served as Brett Favre’s backup for the latter.
