MEDFORD, Ore. — State officials are looking for a foster child in the Medford area who is missing and believed to be in danger, according to the Oregon Department of Human Services.

16-year-old Lydia Jazmin has been missing since November 11, DHS said.

"The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS), Child Welfare Division, asks the public to help in the effort to find them and to contact 911 or local law enforcement if they believe they see them," the agency said. "It is believed they may be travelling to Albany, Ore."

Jazmin uses the pronouns they/them. They are described as standing four-foot, ten-inches tall, about 200 pounds, with brown eyes and dark brown hair.

Anyone who suspects they have information about Jazmin’s location should call 911 or local law enforcement. Reference Medford Police Department case #18910, or National Center for Missing and Exploited Children case #14064220.

Report child abuse to the Oregon Child Abuse Hotline by calling 1-855-503-SAFE (7233). This toll-free number allows you to report abuse of any child or adult to the Oregon Department of Human Services, 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days a year.
