CUMBERLAND, WI (WSAU) — A 43-year-old woman from the Eau Claire area is missing and police say they have reason to believe she is in danger.

Hailey Anderson has not had contact with her family or children since September 16th, which they say is unlike her. Officers say she was spotted leaving the casino in Turtle Lake the next day.

From there she was supposed to travel to Hibbing in Northeastern Minnesota to see friends, but she never made it to her destination.

Around the time she went missing, she did make a frantic phone call to a friend saying her boyfriend had hit her, but she hasn’t had any contact with friends or family since.

Officers say it’s unclear what direction she may be heading. Earlier this weekend it was reported she could be in the Luck area, but that turned out to be false.

Her last known location was South Range, located south of Superior, at 3:00 AM on September 17th.

Hailey is white, 5’4″,150 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. She drives a red 1998 Honda CR-V with Wisconsin registration ALH-2987.

Police ask anyone with information to call please contact Chief Heather Wolfe at 715-418-9240.
