UPDATE- The Moorhead Police Department confirmed it assisted Minnesota State Patrol after a pursuit ended outside of a townhome building early Feb. 1, 2021.
Moorhead police said there was no danger to the public and emphasized the incident was not considered a standoff.
However, further information would need to come from Minnesota State Patrol.
Calls to Minnesota State Patrol for information have not been answered.

MOORHEAD-- Moorhead police officers briefly blocked off a portion of a road as they appeared to be conducting an investigation at a residential building in the early morning of Monday, Feb. 1.
The southbound lanes of 20th St S. appeared to be blocked from Belsly Blvd. to 34th Ave S. from 12a.m. to shortly after 1:30 a.m., when the road was reopened.
Officers are continuing to investigate at the building.
It appears to either be apartment units or townhomes.
One police car leaving the area did have a person in the back seat.
Police also had a car towed that was parked along 34th Ave S.
This is a developing story.
