A York County man took his two daughters at gunpoint police said Tuesday and investigators believe the girls are in “extreme danger.”
According to the York Area Regional Police, Robert Vicosa, also known as Robert Brown, broke into a home in Windsor Township where he first took a woman captive at gunpoint.
Vicosa is accused of stealing the woman’s vehicle and driving away with his two young daughters.
Police said the girls at 6 and 7 years old, and are “believed to be in extreme danger.”
The stolen vehicle was found in Red Lion Borough, police said, and officers are investigating in the area.
Vicosa was last seen wearing blue pajama pants with a penguin imprint, a green long-sleeve ¾ zip-up shirt, and muck boots, police said.
Anyone who sees Vicosa or the two girls is asked to call 911 immediately. Police say not to approach Vicosa, as he is carrying at least one firearm.
