Denver weather: Mild weather returns Thursday alongside fire danger - The Denver Post

tetekrefil.blogspot.com

Denver will be to the 50s on Thursday, returning to mild weather after a cold snap yesterday.

According to the National Weather Service in Boulder, Denver will experience a 55 degree high through a partly sunny sky. The Mile High City began the day with the coldest temperature since mid-February, but don’t expect those cold temperatures again soon. A warming and drying trend has already started, and with it comes the return of elevated fire danger.

Winds will increase in the afternoon over the Front Range, with gusts up to 45 mph, creating Red Flag Conditions for the foothills, South Park and the Palmer Divide. In Denver, winds won’t be an issue. The low Thursday night will be 34 degrees.

Friday will be warmer with a high of 62 degrees as clouds increase, but there will still be some sun. Gusts could reach 15 mph. The low will be 34 degrees.

Cooler weather is coming Saturday, but not too cold. A weak storm system will move across Colorado, giving the mountains a chance of snow with a 20% chance of rain after 11 a.m. downtown. It will be mostly sunny, with a high of 56 degrees.
