Geary County Emergency Management and the National Weather Service that very high fire danger will develop across portions of north central and central KS late Friday morning and through the afternoon, as minimum relative humidity values drop below 30 percent and southerly wind gusts increase to 35 to 40 MPH.
Emergency Management said that there will not be any burning allowed in Geary County on Friday.
