**Red Flag Warning for western and central Siouxland Tuesday afternoon and evening**
Temperatures yesterday jumped up into the 70s and we even managed a few 80s in western Siouxland on the back of the strong southerly winds.
After last night's cold front, the winds have turned to the northwest and will bring colder air in today.
We will stay stuck in the 40s for our temperatures with winds staying pretty blustery as gusts could reach 40 miles per hour.
With very dry air in place, fire danger is high once again so be careful when discarding burning materials.
Clouds will gradually clear as the day goes on with mostly clear skies overnight.
Sunshine will be in place again on Wednesday with temperatures in the 40s and a bit of a breeze, though not as strong as what we have today.
Temperatures start warming on Thursday as we climb into the 50s then return to the 70s on Friday.
